Purpose of the Knowledge Modules
The main focus of the learning in this knowledge module is to build an understanding of the key quality and
safety issues that impact on the productivity of employees. The learning includes the key issues relevant to
the procedural and legal aspects required to monitor work progress and the use of equipment and
instruments.
The learning will enable learners to demonstrate an understanding of:
- Roles and responsibilities of the Occupational Health and safety representative as set
out in the relevant legislation.
